My Approach

My counseling approach is person-centred, meaning I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace.


I integrate principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in daily life.


Because every person is unique, I also take an integrative approach, drawing from different therapeutic models to tailor our work together to your individual needs, goals, and strengths. My aim is to support you in building insight, resilience, and a deeper sense of wellbeing.

Individual sessions typically last 60 minutes. They are usually weekly, but frequency can be adjusted to fit your needs.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed in sessions is private and confidential, with some limits:

  • If there is risk of harm to yourself or others.

  • If there is suspected abuse or neglect.

  • These limits are explained clearly at the start so you feel safe and informed.

  • Pricing is based on both the project's scope and your desired timeline. (I promise fair rates and will always require your approval before we begin).

  • Timelines depend on the project, but I generally dedicate up to a month to each client, with the possibility of an extension based on my availability.
